3-Bean Pork Stew
3-Bean Pork Stew

Whip up this tasty and #JustDelicious hearty bean and pork stew in under an hour, winning at dinner!

600 g

pork fillet, trimmed, cut into 3cm pieces


salt & ground black pepper, to season


carrot, chopped


onion, chopped


celery stalk, chopped

2 cloves

garlic, crushed

6 sprigs

thyme, leaves chopped

10 ml

dried sage

30 g


500 ml

chicken stock

250 g

baby tomatoes, halved

400 g can

butter beans, drained

400 g can

red kidney beans, drained

400 g can

chickpeas, drained

100 g

baby spinach leaves

1 loaf

Ciabatta, toasted, to serve


  • Season pork and heat 15 ml of the olive oil in a large pot, add pork and cook, turning, for 2-3 minutes until browned.

  • Remove pork from pot and set aside. In the same pot add remaining olive oil, carrot, onion and celery, cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.

  • Add garlic, thyme and sage and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  • Add flour and cook until absorbed, add the stock and tomatoes and bring to a simmer, cook for 5 minutes or until flavours have infused.

  • Return the pork to the pot, add the beans and cook, stirring for a further 15 - 20 minutes until pork is tender.

  • Add spinach and stir until wilted. Remove from heat.

  • Serve stew warm with toasted ciabatta to soak up the juices.
