Herbs add flavour and character to a meal. You can purchase dried herbs or use fresh herbs… even herbs from your own garden. This handy guide gives you an overview of which herbs are traditionally used with pork, other meats & vegetables.

COOKING WITH HERBS

Dried herbs have a far more intense flavour than fresh herbs, dried can be substituted for fresh at a ratio of 1:3.

Dried herbs can go stale very quickly; make sure you store your dried herbs in an airtight container away from light and heat.
