Crispy minced bacon, coconut and mixed seeds with fragrant curry powder take morning porridge from drab to comforting fab.

200 g

Eskort Diced Bacon

1 L (4 C)

cooked soft porridge

15 ml (1 T)

garlic, chopped

15 ml (1 T)

curry powder

60 ml (¼ C)

sesame seeds

60 ml (¼ C)

pumpkin seeds

60 ml (¼ C)


60 ml (¼ C)





olive oil for cooking


salt & pepper to taste


  • Cook porridge in a pot over medium heat.

  • Heat a frying pan over a moderate heat and add the olive oil.

  • Fry the Diced Bacon until crispy then lower heat.

  • Add curry powder, seeds, coconut and garlic and fry for 2 minutes.

  • Fry the eggs sunny side up in a separate pan.

  • Stir butter through the porridge and serve.


  • Serve porridge hot and top with curried bacon and eggs.
