Bacon Bonanza Competition – Terms & Conditions

  1. Promoter:
    The Eskort Bacon Bonanza Competition (“the Competition”) is conducted by Eskort (Pty) Ltd, Registration Number 1944/017743/07 (“the Promoter”).
  2. Eligibility:
    • The Competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years and older.
    • Employees, directors, agents, contractors, and consultants of Eskort and their immediate families or anyone professionally connected with the Competition are not eligible to enter.
  3. Competition Period:
    The Competition opens on 08, July 2025 and closes at 11:59PM on 7 August 2025.  Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
  4. How to Enter:
    To enter, participants must:

    • Share their most memorable or entertaining Eskort bacon story on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtags #EskortBaconBonanza and #EskortBaconCrazy, and tag @eskortfood.
    • Entries can be in the form of a text post, photo, video, or reel.
    • Ensure their profile or post is set to “public” so the entry can be seen.
  5. Prizes:
    • The Promoter will award 5 winners with Nespresso Coffee Machine, Flight Tickets Voucher, Apple Watch Series 10, Le Creuset, and PlayStation 5.
    • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable for any reason.
  6. Winner Selection:
    • Winners will be selected randomly, based on creativity, originality, and brand relevance.
    • Winners will be contacted via direct message or comment on their entry post within 5 working days of the competition closing date.
    • If a winner does not respond within 8 hours, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  7. Use of Content:
    By entering the Competition, participants agree to grant Eskort the right to reuse, repost, or repurpose their entry (including any images, videos, or text) for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes in perpetuity and without compensation.
  8. General:
    • The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions or tampers with the entry process.
    • The Promoter will not be held liable for any technical issues or social media outages that prevent entry.
    • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the Competition or acceptance of any prize.
  9. Privacy:
    • Personal information collected as part of the Competition will be used solely to administer the Competition and for Eskort’s promotional purposes, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
    • Participants can contact Eskort to request deletion of their personal information at any time.
  10. Governing Law:
    This Competition is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
