Ingredients
750 ml (3 C) self-raising flour
5 ml (1 t) salt
250 ml (1 C) warm water
oil for deep frying
Method
Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. knead the dough until smooth.
Heat oil in a large pot.
Divide the dough into 12 balls and fry them in the hot oil until golden.
Remove from the oil and drain on a kitchen towel.
Serve
Serve with fillings of your choice.
