Caramel and Bacon Popcorn

  • 200g Eskort Diced bacon 
  • 2 C popcorn kernels 
  • ¼ C oil 
  • 2 T butter 
  • ¼ C castor sugar 
  • 1 t vanilla 
  • 1 t salt


  • Heat a large pot over a high heat. 
  • Add the bacon and fry until cooked. 
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well. 
  • Cover the pot and allow the popcorn to pop. 
  • Shake the pot frequently to ensure the popcorn is equally covered with caramel.

Be careful, the sugar on the popcorn is very hot. Allow to cool down a bit before you have some.
