Dark Chocolate Candied Bacon

Ingredients
200 g Eskort Rindless Streaky Bacon
250 ml dark chocolate
30 ml candied ginger
30 ml candied orange
65 ml almond flakes
30 ml coarse salt
Method
Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Place bacon on the lined baking tray and bake until the bacon is crispy.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Dip ¾ of the crispy bacon into the chocolate and place on a cooling rack.
Sprinkle the bacon with candied ginger, orange and toasted almond flakes while the chocolate is still soft.
Serve
Present as year end gift.
