- 8 mielies
- Zest and juice from 1 lime
- 2 T smoked chili flakes
- ½ C butter melted
- 8 slices thin bread
- 1 C mozzarella cheese
- 1 C cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper
- Get your fire ready.
- Combine the chili, lime zest and lime juice with the melted butter and brush the corns.
- Brush the outsides of the sarmies with your chili and lime butter and fill them with the mozzarella and cheddar.
- Braai the Espetadas for 5 min on each side. (4 sides) 20min in total on the braai.
- Braai the mielies while continually brushing with the butter. (10min)
- Braai the sarmies for 5 min on each side
Serve the Espetadas with the mielies and the cheesy toasties.
Add a salad if you desire.
