Ingredients

  • 4 Eskort Espetadas
  • 8 mielies
  • Zest and juice from 1 lime
  • 2 T smoked chili flakes
  • ½ C butter melted
  • 8 slices thin bread
  • 1 C mozzarella cheese
  • 1 C cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  • Get your fire ready.
  • Combine the chili, lime zest and lime juice with the melted butter and brush the corns.
  • Brush the outsides of the sarmies with your chili and lime butter and fill them with the mozzarella and cheddar.
  • Braai the Espetadas for 5 min on each side. (4 sides) 20min in total on the braai.
  • Braai the mielies while continually brushing with the butter. (10min)
  • Braai the sarmies for 5 min on each side

Serve

Serve the Espetadas with the mielies and the cheesy toasties.
Add a salad if you desire.
