Mediterranean Pork Sausage Pizza with Balsamic Onions, Roasted Green Peppers & Feta

  • Eskort Mediterranean Pork Sausages
  • 1 Onion thinly sliced
  • 2 t balsamic vinegar
  • 1 green pepper roasted
  • ½ C feta
  • 1 C mozzarella cheese
  • ½ C tomato puree
  • 1 C water
  • Oil for cooking
  • For the base:
  • 1 ½ C self-rising flour
  • ½ C water
  • 1 t salt


  • Preheat the oven to 200°
  • Combine the water, flour and salt in a mixing bowl and knead until smooth dough forms.
  • Keep the dough covered in a warm place.
  • Heat a frying pan over a high heat.
  • Add the sausages with 1C of water and 1 t of oil and cook for 10 min.
  • The water will evaporate and the sausages with fry in the oil.
  • Remove the sausages for the pan and slice them into chunky pieces.
  • While the sausages cook fry the onions in a pan with some oil over a medium heat. As soon as the onions are caramelised add the balsamic vinegar.
  • Cut the roasted peppers into strips.
  • Roll out your pizza base and add the tomato puree.
  • Add the mozzarella cheese and sausages.
  • Add the peppers and top the pizza with the feta.
  • Bake the pizza for 10 min.


Serve the pizza with the caramelised onion on the side.
