Ingredients

  • 350 g Eskort Mini Cheese Viennas
  • 1 packet flapjack mix
  • 1 pot oil for frying
  • 125 ml (½ C) flour
  • 12 wooden skewers
  • Tip:
  • Add bacon and/or dried fruit to the leftover batter and make mini flapjacks.
  • Special Note:
  • Wooden skewers should be removed to prevent possible harm to children.

Method

  • Heat pot of oil over moderate heat.
  • Mix the flapjack batter per the packaging instructions.
  • Skewer each Mini Vienna and dip into the flour.
  • Dip each skewered Vienna into the batter until evenly coated.
  • Deep fry the coated Viennas in the simmering oil until they have puffed up and turned golden brown.
