Pork Chops and Eskort Heidelberg Wors with char Grilled Corn and a Chakalaka Salad

Ingredients for the Shisanyama

  • 4 Eskort Pork Loin Chops
  • Eskort Heidelberger Wors
  • 4 cobs of corn cut into quarters
  • ¼ C Eskort Braai Spice
  • 3 T oil for cooking

Ingredients Chakalaka Salad

  • 1 C mild and spicy Chakalaka
  • ½ C achar
  • 1 tin butter beans
  • ¼ C mayonnaise
  • ½ C pickled vegetables


  • Get your fire nice and hot.
  • Drizzle the chops and the corn with oil and spice both with the Eskort Braai Spice.
  • Braai the wors for 7 min on each side.
  • Braai the chops for 5 min on each side and 2 min on the fat.
  • Braai the corn for 7 min turning after 3 min to ensure all sides are charred and sexy.
  • While the meat is cooking prepare your salad.


  • To prepare the salad, add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl and give it a quick stir.


  • Serve the meat, corn and salad with your choice of bread, pap or seamed bread.
