Serve with more chilli, if desired.
Porky Mac & Cheese
Ingredients
- 375 g Eskort Gold Medal Pork Sausages
- 750 ml (3 C) raw macaroni
- 500 ml (2 C) processed cheese
- 60 ml (¼ C) chives, chopped
- 30 ml (2 T) thyme, chopped
- 15 ml (1 T) crushed garlic
- 250 ml (1 C) breadcrumbs
- 1 chilli, chopped
- 45 ml (3 T) olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Preheat the oven to 190°C.
- Cook macaroni according to packet instructions. Do not drain water.
- Add the processed cheese, chives, thyme and garlic to the pot of macaroni and stir until cheese has melted. 5-10 minutes
- Transfer to a greased oven dish and place sausages on top.
- Combine breadcrumbs, chilli and olive oil. Crumble over the mac and cheese.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
