Spicy Avo and Crispy Bacon Breakfast Bowl

  • 200g Eskort Streaky Bacon
  • 4 avos
  • 4 soft boiled eggs
  • ½ t chili flakes
  • ½ t cayenne pepper
  • 1 t paprika
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper

For the Boiled eggs

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 t bicarb
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t vinegar


  • Add the eggs, bicarb, salt, and vinegar to a pot of cold water making sure the eggs are completely submerged. Add the pot to high heat and allow the water to boil.
  • Let the eggs to cook for 7 minutes.
  • Place the eggs in a bowl of ice water to cool down for roughly 1 minute.
  • Place the streaky bacon in a cold frying pan and allow to heat over a high heat. Fry the bacon on both sides until crispy.
  • Mash the avo, chili flakes, cayenne, paprika and lemons in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.


Cut the boiled eggs in half and, serve it with the crispy bacon on the spicy avo as a quick, healthy but comforting breakfast.
