The Kurt Darren Hot Dog

It’s the real makoya, the kaptein, a creation with a medley of Afrikaans flavours that remind you of home. It’s mouth-watering, and it will leave your taste buds dancing and asking for more of that loslappie. Let’s make the Kurt Darren.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Rooster brood roll
  • Golden Roasted onions
  • 1 Eskort Bockwurst
  • ¼ C Tomato cut into small blocks
  • ¼ C caramelised onions, caramalised in brandewyn and coke
  • ½ C Sliced Biltong
  • 3 T Mayonnaise
  • 2 T Chopped Spring onion
  • 1 hot braai

Method:

  • Braai your bockwurst until golden and hot.
  • Cover the bun with mayonnaise, and add the caramelised onions and tomato.
  • Add the sausages, biltong, and some more mayonnaise.
  • Add a last helping of mayo and garnish with spring onion.
