Eskort Silverton Donates Hampers to the Value of R60,500.
Children who attend Booysens Beertjies, Laerskool Kameeldrift and Kairos Centre rely on their schools to prepare their meals on a daily basis. When the schools closed for the December holidays, it would have left these families without food. On the 7th of December 2020, the Eskort Butchery in Silverton proudly stepped up to the occasion, and donated 275 hampers to the above named schools.
Each hamper consists of 1kg of French Polony, 1kg of Garlic Polony, 750g of Chicken Polony, 250g Liver Spread, 200g of Shoulder Bacon, 500g of Smoked Russians, 500g of Red Viennas and 10 Cheese Slices. The weight of the meat donated amounted to a massive 1.4 tonnes of meat.
