Ingredients
500 g sweet potatoes, parboiled
250 ml (1 C) fruit cake mix
5 ml (1 t) cloves
5 ml (1 t) cinnamon
5 ml (1 t) ginger
5 ml (1 t) nutmeg
60 ml (¼ C) brandy
60 ml (¼ C) cherry liqueur
60 ml (¼ C) maple syrup

Substitutions
Fruit Cake Mix (gluten): Use gluten-free fruit cake mix.
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Slice sweet potatoes in half and place in a large mixing bowl.
Add the rest of the ingredients and combine
Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until slightly golden.
Serve
Serve hot or cold with crème fraîche or ice-cream.
