Prego Steak and Fiesta Fries
Ingredients for the Prego Steaks
- 1 Pack of Prego Steaks
- 2T Olive Oil
Ingredients for Fiesta Fries
- 4C McCain fries
- Frying oil
- 1 red onion sliced
- 2 Sliced Onions deep fried
- 1C Cheese sauce (store bought)
- 4T Peri-peri powder
Method for the Prego Steaks
- In a medium pan over a high heat add the oil and fry the Prego Steaks for 5min.
- Take away from heat and let to rest on a chopping board.
Method for the Fiesta Fries
- In a large pot over a high heat, add the frying oil.
- Fry the fries for 7 minutes until crispy and golden brown, remove them from the heat and drain the oil, and put it in a bowl.
- Add the red onions to the fries and then the deep-fried onion.
- Pour the cheese sauce onto the fries and add the thinly sliced Prego Steaks.
Serve
- Garnish with parsley and serve while it is hot.
