Bacon And Cheese Croissant Bake
Ingredients
- 1 pack Eskort Back Bacon
- 6 croissants
- Butter, to spread
- 3 eggs
- 60ml fresh cream
- Small handful chopped fresh rosemary
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 150g cheese slices of your choice
- Rosemary sprigs, to top
Method
- Preheat your oven to 160°C.
- Fry the bacon in a pan over medium heat until crispy, then cut the bacon into strips.
- Slice the croissants into thirds and butter each slice.
- Add the eggs, cream, rosemary and salt and pepper to a bowl and whisk until combined. Dip each croissant piece into the egg mixture before arranging the croissant pieces in a roasting dish.
- Add the crispy bacon pieces and slices of cheese to the dish with the croissants, then top with rosemary sprigs.
- Roast in the preheated oven until the egg is set, the cheese is melted and the croissants are toasted. Serve immediately.
