Ingredients

  • 1 pack Eskort Russians (sliced into 1cm)
  • 4C Half cooked Penne pasta
  • 2T Olive oil
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • 1 Chopped Garlic clove 
  • ¼ C flour 
  • 2C Butter milk
  • ½ C Grated Cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Heat a pot over medium heat.
  • Fry onion and garlic for 4 minutes.
  • Add in the sliced Russians and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the flour.
  • Add butter milk slowly while stirring and let simmer for 5 minutes
  • Add in the pasta and cheddar cheese to melt.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

 

Serve

  • Portion out the pasta into bowl and garnish with chopped mixed herbs
