Ingredients

  • 200 g Eskort Rindless Streaky Bacon
  • 250 ml dark chocolate
  • 30 ml candied ginger
  • 30 ml candied orange
  • 65 ml almond flakes
  • 30 ml coarse salt

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Place bacon on the lined baking tray and bake until the bacon is crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  • Dip ¾ of the crispy bacon into the chocolate and place on a cooling rack.
  • Sprinkle the bacon with candied ginger, orange and toasted almond flakes while the chocolate is still soft.

Serve
