Ingredients

  • Eskort Jalapeno Sausages
  • 2 roasted red peppers
  • ½ C mild achar
  • 2 C self-raising flour
  • 1 C water
  • 1 t salt

Method

  • Start a fire and get your coals ready.
  • Add the flour salt and water to a mixing bowl and mix until a dough forms, knead your dough until smooth.
  • Divide the dough into 80g sized dough balls.
  • Dust the dough balls with some flour and keep aside.
  • Skewer the Jalapeno sausages with the peppers.
  • Place the dough over the coals and braai for 5min on each side, (roosterbrood has 4 sides)
  • Braai the skewers for 5 min per side.

Serve

  • Serve the achar on the roosterbrood and serve it with the sosaties.
